01 / Our story

Why we started KanaQ.

Quantum computing is moving from the physics lab to the boardroom. Analysts expect it to unlock over a trillion dollars of value by 2035, mostly in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, financial services and aerospace & defence. With the National Quantum Mission, India has committed to building its own quantum hardware, networks and talent.

But there's a gap between a breakthrough in a lab and a tool an engineer can use on Monday morning. Most organisations don't need a quantum computer yet. They need software that can simulate one: to test ideas, size problems, compare hardware and build skills.

That's the gap KanaQ fills. We bring together hands-on industry experience and a deep interest in quantum science, focused on four areas where simulation matters most: molecular, chemical, finance and defence.
